The Phenom
They come a long way, afar,
From a steam-filled void, unbreathable void.
Like a divine stream, fierce and pure,
To ignite, illuminate, inspire, the allure.
Yet their arrival comes at no surprise,
No notice, no applause, no thanks.
Integral to domestic life, though,
Their intervention granted; contribution monthly noted.
Cityscapes and city-life,
Escape the darkness, join the light.
Overhead gold, glowing amber,
Burning coal is its shadow.
They quietly flow at our command,
In its absence, life declines.
Seems aimless with no bright screens,
which flowing charges light up vigorously...
